A Season of Gratitude at English Estates Elementary
During the holiday season, students and families at English Estates Elementary School felt the power of community in a big way. Thanks to a Thanksgiving Day packing event hosted by a generous local family, Blessings in a Backpack delivered bags of food to support students as they headed into December.
When the food bags were distributed, the gratitude was immediate and heartfelt. Smiling faces filled the room as families received the generous meals—a reminder that, even during busy, challenging times, they are seen, supported, and cared for.
School staff shared how meaningful it was for their community:
“Our families and students were so grateful—as you can tell from all the smiling faces. Thank you for always thinking of English Estates during these large packing events.”
Because of partners like these and our dedicated supporters, Blessings in a Backpack continues to provide comfort, nourishment, and hope—especially during the holiday season. Together, we are making weekends brighter for English Estates students.
