Join Blessings in a Backpack on May 9, 2025, at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood, Florida, for an exclusive opportunity to be part of a truly prestigious event. This is more than just a tournament—it’s one of only two qualifiers in the United States for the world-renowned Duke of Edinburgh Cup, an elite international golf competition.
Featuring a Stableford format, players will earn points based on strokes per hole in relation to par. The top two finishers with a valid handicap will be invited to compete in the Duke of Edinburgh Cup in England (September 27–October 2, 2025), where they will play on legendary courses and participate in an unforgettable championship experience.

Golf isn’t just a game for Justin Rose—it’s a way to make an impact. As the ambassador for The Duke of Edinburgh Cup, his commitment to supporting young people extends far beyond the fairways. Together with his wife, Kate, Justin has been making waves through their partnership with Blessings in a Backpack. Since 2009, their efforts have helped over 15,000 kids across Central Florida enjoy weekends without worrying about hunger.
In May 2020, they took it a step further by launching the Orlando Chapter through their foundation. Now, with their support, Blessings Orlando provides food to an incredible 4,200 kids who might otherwise go hungry. Justin shared his enthusiasm for the Duke of Edinburgh Cup, saying, “I am delighted to accept the position of Ambassador for the Duke of Edinburgh Cup, as raising funds through golf for children in need continues to be a passion and focus of mine. I am very much looking forward to working with the Trustees, including my wife, Kate, to expand the Charity’s global reach and impact.”
