Thank you to our sponsors: the Kate & Justin Rose Foundation, Cahill Homes, LPT Realty, RP Funding, Sonny’s BBQ, and our National event series sponsor: Sysco. The golfers had a fun-filled day at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood. The winning foursome of the Scramble were from Nemours Children’s Health, Florida including Chris Alsip, Jacob Horner, Matt Sands, and Al Torres. The grand prize winners of the Duke of Edinburg Cup World Finals Qualifier were Matt Wilson of Ormond Beach, Florida (1st place) and Dione Harrington of Rochester, New York (2nd place). Matt and Dione will head to England at the end of September to compete in a field of international golfers. The 36-hole World Final takes place over two days on two prestigious golf courses close to London. There is also a friendly match with members of the Royal Household Golf Club, the private course at Windsor Castle. A black-tie prize giving dinner is held in the State Rooms of Windsor Castle in the presence of a member of the Royal Family.
