Diane LaVigna, CFRE
Managing Director
Diane LaVigna serves as the managing director of the Blessings in a Backpack Orlando Chapter, a role she began at the end of October 2024. She has 28 years of experience in nonprofit management and fundraising and has maintained her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential since 2005. A native of New York State, she has called Winter Garden, Florida, home for the past seven years. Diane is a member of the Central Florida chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and serves on the board of the Winter Garden Art Association. She is married with one son and spends her free time reading and painting.
Katie Cowan
Chapter Coordinator
Katie Cowan is a versatile professional with extensive experience in both education and marketing. She serves as the chapter coordinator for Blessings Orlando supporting efforts to prevent child hunger, a role she began in February 2024. A Florida native living in Longwood, Florida, Katie holds a Master’s in Math Education and blends her teaching experience with expertise in customer engagement and digital marketing. She is married with a blended family of six children and enjoys live music and snuggling with her pets.
